The Power of Duplication

For a long time, I thought I understood what it took to build a big business.

Find more people.

Recruit more people.

Grow the team.

It seemed logical.

If 10 people could produce a certain result, then 100 people should produce an even bigger result.

Right?

Not necessarily.

Being part of a successful team has taught me something that completely changed the way I look at building a business:

Recruiting people is only the beginning. Helping those people succeed is where the real leverage is.

And there’s a huge difference between the two.

What Happens After Someone Joins?

Think about it.

You can recruit 100 people.

But what happens if 95 of them don’t know what to do next?

What if they’re confused about the technology?

What if they don’t know how to market?

What if they aren’t sure what to say, where to send people, or how to follow up?

What if they spend more time trying to figure out the system than actually building their business?

Eventually, many people become overwhelmed.

And when people become overwhelmed, they often stop taking action.

That’s when I realized something:

You can have a huge team and still have very little duplication.

You don’t necessarily have a business that’s growing.

You may simply have a lot of unfinished projects.

Duplication Is the Game Changer

I’ve seen firsthand what can happen when you have a system that people can actually follow and duplicate.

One person who really stands out to me is Jeff Aman, the owner and creator of The Easy Commission Funnel.

Over the years, Jeff has been blessed to build a global team of more than 50,000 customers, generating multiple six figures in annual income from one company alone.

There are undoubtedly many factors behind that kind of success, but one lesson stands out:

A process becomes incredibly powerful when other people can duplicate it.

You don’t want every new person to start from scratch.

You don’t want everyone trying to reinvent the wheel.

And you definitely don’t want every team member coming to you with the same questions because there isn’t a clear process to follow.

Instead, imagine giving someone a roadmap.

Here’s where you start.

Here’s what you do next.

Here’s how the system works.

Here’s how you get people into the process.

And here’s what happens after that.

That’s duplication.

Why Jeff Created The Easy Commission Funnel

This is exactly what led Jeff to create The Easy Commission Funnel.

He wanted everyday people to have access to the same types of pages, emails, systems, and training that were helping him generate commissions.

Not just experienced marketers.

Not just technology experts.

Not just people who enjoy spending all day building websites and figuring out software.

Normal people.

People who want to build something but don’t necessarily want to become full-time technology experts in the process.

Because let’s be honest…

You shouldn’t need a computer science degree and 17 browser tabs open just to figure out where to begin.

The goal was simple:

Make the process easier to understand, easier to implement, and easier to duplicate.

And Then Something Interesting Happened

As more people came through the system, Jeff started seeing something that he found incredibly rewarding.

The notifications started coming in.

People joining programs.

People taking action.

People generating commissions.

And many of these people weren’t marketing geniuses.

They didn’t have years of experience.

They didn’t know every technical detail behind the scenes.

They simply had access to a system they could follow.

And that’s an important distinction.

Sometimes we think successful marketers have some secret ability that everyone else is missing.

But often, the difference isn’t that someone knows everything.

It’s that they have a clear process and actually follow it.

Give People a Path, Not Just an Opportunity

This is one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned from being part of this team.

It’s easy to give someone an opportunity.

It’s much harder—and much more valuable—to give them a path.

A path answers questions like:

What do I do first?

What do I do next?

What tools do I use?

How do I get started?

Where do I send people?

What happens after they take action?

The clearer those answers become, the easier it is for someone to move forward.

And when the process can be duplicated, you aren’t limited to doing everything yourself.

That’s where things can really begin to change.

You Don’t Need More People. You Need More People Succeeding.

That’s the shift I’ve come to understand.

It’s not simply about recruiting more people.

It’s about helping the people you already have move forward.

Because recruiting is only the beginning.

The real opportunity comes when the people you bring into your business have the tools, training, and systems they need to take action.

That’s what duplication is really about.

Don’t just build a bigger team.

Build a system that helps your team succeed.

That’s the philosophy behind The Easy Commission Funnel.

And that’s one of the reasons I’m excited to be part of Jeff’s team.

Because at the end of the day, I don’t believe building a business is simply about finding more people.

I believe it’s about giving more people a clearer, simpler, more repeatable path to success.
